Born with distinct leadership efficiency on 15th July, 1973 Dr. Alam N. Shaikh has grown with the aim to reach the pinnacle. He stands as a self example for sincerity, motivation and hard work. At the young age of 38 years he has garnered the approval as a ‘Principal’& ‘Professor’ in renowned Mumbai and Shivaji universities. He is one of few erudite of his kind to have 6 years of experience as Principal and in all 22 years of experience in academics at just an age of 42.

          He serves as VC nominee & subject expert on interview panel of Mumbai and Shivaji University. He has quite number of national and international level conference papers published to his credit. He is a approved PhD guide with 2 research scholars working under him till date. Apart from guiding students, he has conducted 11 technical workshops. He has been the convener of national and international level conferences. He has strong technical hold in field of wireless networks.       

          His major interest is in faculty as well as student education development, particularly in terms of increasing access to & diversity within the teaching profession and promoting a symbiotic relationship between academics & industrial perspectives. Through his able guidance and strong vision, post-graduation courses have been started in colleges where he has served as Principal. With his positive interaction with industries, he has placed almost every student from his college in industry.       

          His responsibility towards society needs a look through. He has conducted two successful National level Marathon in Navi Mumbai for ‘Women Safety’ and ‘Student Empowerment’ on 17th September, 2013 and 21st September, 2014. He has organized ‘blood donation camp’ & ‘tree plantation camp’. He has organized workshop on ‘women self defence’ and ‘anti terrorism’ in Navi Mumbai.

          A dynamic Principal with able leadership quality and proficiency in building a strong team to achieve the planned goals marks his successful journey. He has been recognised and awarded for his efficiency as:

2. “Award for Educational Leadership” from Indo global Education/Skills Summit & Expo-2017 by Indus Foundation on 17th July 2017 at The Lalit, Mumbai.

3. “Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Shikshan Ratan National Award” from IISER, Bengaluru held on 2nd June, 2018 at A.D.A. Ranga Mandira, Bengaluru.

4. “Award for Excellence in BEST PRINCIPAL”  from ASIA AFRICA ICT EXCELLENCE Award 2018 at NCRDSIMS Navi Mumbai on 1st December, 2018.
